Betting Baltimore Ravens

After losing their opening game of the season to Kansas City 27–20, the Baltimore Ravens are now winless this year. Despite falling behind 20-10 and 27-17 at one point in the game, Baltimore mounted a valiant comeback.

The Ravens marched down the field in the last minute and caught a touchdown pass as the clock ran out, but the tight end was just barely out of bounds. In the end, Baltimore outgained Kansas City 452-353, tied the game at one turnover apiece, and struggled 7-14 on third down. Lamar Jackson ran for 122 yards on 16 carries and throwing for 273 yards and one touchdown.

In honor of the Chiefs’ Super Bowl triumph, Baltimore had the difficult task of starting the season at Arrowhead, but they performed well and came dangerously close to winning with a two-point conversion. Although the Ravens gained over 450 yards in total, they must use caution when rushing Lamar as often as they did.

With his team as an East Coast favorite, Derrick Henry has scored at least one touchdown in each of his last six games. Lamar Jackson has tallied at least 223 passing yards in the previous four Sunday home games for the Ravens.

In three of his last four games playing for an East Coast team favored by NFL gambling sites, Derrick Henry has scored two touchdowns or more. In each of the last seven games of the regular season for the Ravens, Isaiah Likely has accumulated 31 or more receiving yards. His last seven September home games, Derrick Henry has amassed more than 77 running and receiving yards. This season, Roquan Smith is ranked T1st in the NFL in interceptions (1).

Betting Las Vegas Raiders

Following a 22-10 loss to the Chargers in their most recent game, the Las Vegas Raiders are winless on the season. After trailing 7-3 after a touchdown in the first quarter, Las Vegas lost 19-3 as they were outscored the remainder of the game. The Raiders went 5-14 on third down, turned the ball over thrice, and outgained 316-296 overall. Zamir White ran for 44 yards on 13 carries, while Gardner Minshew passed for 257 yards, one touchdown, and one interception.

In the first three-quarters of the game, Las Vegas did a great job of limiting the Chargers to field goals; however, they allowed two touchdowns in the fourth quarter and lost. Las Vegas requires more offense since 10 points on almost 300 yards of total yardage is far from sufficient.

After a road defeat, the Raiders have won four of their previous five games when Jakobi Meyers scored the first touchdown. In his last 11 road games, Alexander Mattison has gained more than 19 running yards in each of those games. Also in his previous 11 away games, Alexander Mattison has amassed more than 29 rushing and receiving yards in each. In his last six games with his club as an East Coast underdog, Davante Adams has scored a touchdown.

Against AFC North opponents, in each of his five prior appearances with his team as an underdog, Gardner Minshew has accumulated 226+ passing yards. Jakobi Meyers has appeared in six September games and has accumulated 55+ receiving yards in each of them.

Las Vegas Raiders vs. Baltimore Ravens Week 2 NFL Pick

Although Baltimore performed far better last week than the Raiders, both of these teams are looking for their first victory of the year going into this game. On the road, the Ravens had a terrific chance to win and took Kansas City to the last whistle.

We believe the Baltimore offense will keep getting more yards, and the defense will play excellently against the Las Vegas attack. Baltimore should easily win this game because we think they will perform far better in the red zone than the Chargers did against Las Vegas.

We are taking the Ravens to win this one by a touchdown. Baltimore showed the same formula that propelled them to a 13-3 record and a 12-7 ATS run the previous season, despite the Week 1 loss. Lamar Jackson is unstoppable, the defense is excellent, and pass catchers like Zay Flowers and Isaiah Likely are skilled enough to spread out opposition defenses.
